Sports Clips Help A Hero Scholarship
The VFW has pardnered with Sports Clips to not only offer Great Haircuts, but to give VFW members a discount, Sport Clips nationwide are accepting donations to the Help A Hero Scholarship from October 13,2014 to November 11,2014 with a goal of raising $600,000.00. Further, Sports Clips will donate $1.00 from all haircuts given on November 11,2014 to the Help A Hero Scholarship. Every student in high school faces that question, what is next college, work force, or military? Many elect college, but many are forced into the military to pay for college. In the State of Missouri, through the National Guard there is Tuition Assistance but that leaves a person to pay for books and lab fees. This scholarship fits that need perfectly, ensuring that if your child elects the military, they will at least have their schooling covered 100%. Thank you Sports Clips for stepping up and assisting so many student-soldiers.
