On Tuesday the VFW celebrated Veterans Day, honoring the millions of men and women across the world who have bravely worn our nation's uniform and selflessly defended our country. The VFW wouldn't be the organization it is today without your service and sacrifice, and we hope this week you felt the outpouring of gratitude and support you deserve.
Your service, commitment to our country and your dedication to improving the lives and communities around you is the heart of what the VFW stands for. The work you do day in and day out — Still Serving — is what being a VFW member is all about, and we appreciate you and thank you for your continued service.
Respectfully,
Your VFW

VFW Provides Essential Services
A June GAO report from a study of more than 50,000 troops surveyed upon exiting the military in 2023 and 2024 found that two-thirds of troops might suffer from mental health conditions requiring follow-up. Reasons like this are why the VFW provides essential free services linking these separating members with their VA benefits. Read more on the GAO report and how the VFW's NVS program is stepping up.
