Partner Organization Introduction

The Mizzou Marine Corps League Detachment 828 is proud to stand as a committed partner alongside American Legion Post 202 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 280. Together, these organizations form a unified network of veteran service within Boone County—each maintaining its own traditions and identity while working collaboratively to support veterans, families, and the broader community.

The Marine Corps League brings a distinguished legacy of honor, courage, and commitment to this partnership. Their continued service through mentorship, community engagement, and veteran support strengthens the collective impact of all three organizations. By working in concert with the American Legion and the VFW, the Mizzou Marine Corps League helps advance shared goals in advocacy, outreach, and community leadership

The Mizzou Detatchment 828 of the Marine Corps Leauge meets at the American Legion 202 located at 3669 Legion Drive on the first Wednesday of every month.  Social hour is at 1700 hours, 5 p.m., and the meeting starts at 1800 hours, 6 p.m.
