The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to all those grieving the loss of a military loved one. Since its inception in 1994, TAPS has offered comfort and hope through a national peer support network and connections to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones. TAPS provides a variety of programs, including the National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp, regional survivor seminars, retreats, and expeditions. The organization also offers 24/7 support through the TAPS National Military Survivor Helpline, ensuring that no survivor has to navigate their grief alone.
